FOSTERING ACTION FOR COMMUNITY THRIVING SOMALIA - FACT is a non-governmental organization, a women-led organization, committed to promoting protection and resilience-building efforts in Somalia. FACT aims to address the complex challenges faced by vulnerable communities in the country, with a focus on protecting their rights, safety, and well-being. By engaging with local communities, implementing partners, and relevant stakeholders, FACT works towards creating an environment where individuals and communities can thrive in safety and security.

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention & Response
Preventing and responding to GBV through survivor-centered protection, community prevention, psychosocial support, and strengthened referral systems

Ensuring inclusive, age-appropriate SRHR information, services, and referrals that respect dignity, culture, and rights.
Economic Empowerment, Livelihoods & Food Security
Promoting women’s economic resilience and self-reliance through livelihoods, financial inclusion, and food security initiatives.
Women’s Leadership & Civic Participation
Strengthening women’s leadership, voice, and meaningful participation in community decision-making and governance processes.
Community-Based Environmental Protection Projects
Advocating for gender-responsive climate policies, supporting planning , raising climate change awareness, & providing environmental protection training.
